For any swimmer it is beneficial to get a feel for those other swimmers times in and around your age group. Rankings are not something that a swimmer should become overly involved in as in reality they are a snapshot in time.    

They do not account for your own training schedule, level of physical development or swimming goals. As such use them as a guide not a target!
